Additional Information
The Paris 2024 Olympics and Paralympics
The Paris Olympics will be held from July 26 to August 11, 2024, followed by the Paralympic Games from August 28 to September 8, 2024. Paris and the entire Île-de-France region will host the world’s top athletes, ready to compete for gold. Equestrian sports will be among the highlights, divided into three categories: show jumping, dressage, and eventing (which includes dressage, show jumping, and cross-country).
Why Follow Equestrian Sports?
Equestrian sports are the only mixed-gender events where men and women compete on an equal footing. Equestrianism is also the only Olympic sport that involves an animal: the horse!
Equestrianism combines grace, precision, and strength and must result from a perfect harmony between the horse and its rider.
